PlayaMagma
Casa Playa Magma — Donde el agua sana y el fuego transforma

Entre Ayampe y Las Tunas · Manabí, Ecuador

Where the water heals and the fire transforms

PlayaMagma is an 11,000 m² eco-tourism farm between Ayampe and Las Tunas, in southern Manabí, Ecuador — right at the transition between sea and mountain, 900 meters from the Ruta del Spondylus. It's not a hotel: it's a living space of nature, rest and community, built with guadúa cane, teak, brick and bamboo, with every comfort you need to truly unplug.

A piece of forest between the sea and the mountain

The name says it all: Playa (Beach) + Magma. The calm of the sea at the end of the road, and the energy of the earth that sustains everything that grows and is built here. PlayaMagma was born as a living farm, in permanent construction, where every cabin, every trail and every piece of furniture from our own carpentry workshop tells part of its story. Our gardens grow food for the house, biodigesters process organic waste, and the tropical rainforest around us remains exactly where it always was: untouched.

PlayaMagma is not a conventional hotel. It's a place for those seeking real nature (not decorative), tranquility without boredom, comfort without empty luxury, community with purpose, and experiences that stay with you.
